Zahra works mostly as an actress in television, theatre, film and radio, both in the UK and internationally.  She trained at the RWCMD, graduating in 2005 and has appeared in two previous GEST productions: Belongings and This Wide Night.  She also worked as assistant director on Gladiator Games at Sheffield Theatres and Theatre Royal Stratford East.

Her theatre credits include: Fit & Proper People at Soho Theatre, Sisters at Sheffield Crucible Studio, Isfahan Calling at The Old Red Lion and King of Hearts for Out of Joint at Hampstead Theatre.

Her television and film credits include: Marcella, Informer, Tracey Breaks the News, Death In Paradise, Porridge, Bliss, Innocent, Tracey Ullman's Show, Count Arthur Strong, Josh, Berlin Station, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, Black Mirror, Babylon, A Nice Arrangement, Doctor Who, The Job Lot, The Mimic, The Thick of It, Bellamy's People, Doctors, Eastenders, Britz, Trial & Retribution, Closed Circuit and Tamara Drewe.
