  SECONDS

GEST is delighted to present the Scandinavian premiere of the award-winning Four Minutes Twelve Seconds by James Fritz

A shockingly funny thriller in a time of selfies and sexting. A morally terrifying drama which shines a light on growing up, parental/peer pressure and acceptance of responsibly in the #metoo age.

He says they all do it. These kids, you know, they've got their phones. Film everything. Can't say I blame them. I would at that age.

Di and David, the parents  of 17-year old Jack, have devoted their whole lives to giving Jack every opportunity they never had. But when something private and personal goes viral it hreatens to ruin everything they've striven for. As events begin to accelerate, Di and David start to doubt Jack's closest friends, Jack himself and ultimately themselves – who can they trust?

Four Minutes Twelve Seconds premiered at Hampstead theatre in 2014 and then transferred to the West End and won "Most Promising Playwright" prize at the Critics Circle Theatre Awards 2015 and was nominated for an Olivier Award.

"...It is the most up to date play of our time, and even more so since #metoo started this autumn...The actors achievements leave you wanting nothing more.."

"Incredibly versatile Max Gold who has travelled to several continents in his profession, has a total presence...Fellow actor Brändén Whitaker has a role that is equally as energetic and desperate. Skillfully done with perfect pitch!"
Kulturbloggen

" ...It is well acted and beautifully executed especially Maia Watkins who deserves praise for her role as the feisty, vulnerable teenager, Cara "
